RPC Industries, Inc. is a commercial and industrial contracting firm specializing in Roofing, Specialty Coatings, and Insulation.

Roofing
RPC Industries, Inc. has partnered with leading manufacturers of the roofing industry. By using the latest technology available we provide our customers with the best roofing systems available. The systems we install can achieve the highest wind up-lift ratings given by both FM and UL testing laboratories and we can provide unlimited wind warranties ensuring your roof will survive the next big storm. These systems are fully adhered eliminating the need for mechanical fasteners.

Sprayed Polyurethane Foam
Sprayed Polyurethane Foam, or SPF as it is called, has been used for commercial and industrial roofing applications since the late 1960's. SPF offers many advantages over other roofing systems. The SPF system may be utilized in both the re-cover and new roof markets. SPF is lightweight, long lasting, and easily maintained. It is sprayed directly to the substrate to achieve a seamless totally adhered surface without the use of mechanical fasteners.

EPDM/Fleece Back
The concept is not new: Take a fleece-backed EPDM and fully-adhere it with a sprayed adhesive. With 40 million square feet already down, its pretty clear that the application method works. Its true that on their own, fleece-backs aren't revolutionary. They have been laying these membranes in hot asphalt with mixed results for some time. But what is special is all the things the latest generation, two component urethane adhesives, bring to the party.

First off, it will adhere both the membrane and the insulation. Each layer of spray applied adhesive, from 1/16 to 1/8 inch thick, also adds a little extra R-value to the roof assembly. When the adhesive expands, it effectively fills in gaps between the insulation boards, eliminating thermal bridging. This adhesive is so tenacious that with a peel-and-stick vapor retarder, a fleece-backed EPDM achieves a FM 1-990 rating. When you put together all the benefits of this system you can understand why architects and owners are choosing to install the Fleece Back manufactured by Carlisle on their projects.

Specialty Coatings

Specialty Coatings is a term used to describe a variety of products that are used for multiple applications. They vary from epoxies, acrylic elastomers to 100% polyureas that cure in seconds. Their applications can be to coat concrete, wood or metal on vertical as well as horizontal surfaces. They are used as a protective process for waterproofing, chemical containment or as a wearing surface for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Insulation

Sprayed Polyurethane Foam has been used as insulation since the early sixties. With an average aged r-value of 6.5 per inch polyurethane foam has the highest r-value per inch of any insulation on the  market today. Foam in its different varieties can be found as an insulator in coffee mugs, coolers, freezers, and hot tubs. In the construction industry we insulate pipes, metal buildings, and roofs.  Storage vessels that contain water or oil that need to be kept above or below a certain temperature are also candidates for sprayed polyurethane foam. The fact that as a sprayed on insulation it can conform to the shape of the substrate it is being applied to is a huge advantage not to mention the added value of being strong enough to add structural integrity when needed.
